MA Asia Studies students: Korea Studies (120 credits); East Asian Studies (60 credits) – Korea track; and others with sufficient Korean language skills.
Description
Critical readings of Korean texts in different writing styles on subjects related to the State of the Field Seminar. Texts will be read, analysed and discussed.
Course objectives
*Improve reading skills; *Familiarize students with the current scholarly debate in Korea; *Critically engage the content and how it is transmitted to the reader.
