Description
As one of the optional theoretical elements of the EBC specialisation students can do an oral examination about a specialized book on a particular subject of choice.
Learning goals
Course objectives:
Getting an in-depth theoretical knowledge about a particular subject.
Final qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to extract relevant concepts and knowledge on a specific subject from a larger scientific work and being able to express and explain them.
Timetable
Can in principle be done at any time, but date should be discussed with the supervisor concerned.
Mode of instruction
Students can approach a member of the university teaching staff involved in the EBC program to ask for the books this staff member has available for a book examination.
Assessment method
Oral, usually for about one hour.
