Description
In the first half of the lecture Introduction in Magnetic Resonance the principles of magnetic resonance are treated, both from quantum-mechanic as from the classical image of the precession of a core spin. In the second half is discussed how these principles are used for magnetic resonance imaging. The instruments are also discusses, centrally the experiments in the Gorter-centre of the Leiden University Medical Centre.
