Propedeuse (first year) Archaeology (or equivalent) obtained, plus background knowledge relevant to the Archaeology of North-Western Europe.
Description
Active participation in a research project involving description, analysis and interpretation of finds/features of older or recent fieldwork. At least one research project will be available in English.
Course objectives
Skills in post-excavation processing and analysis;
Insight in the background, research questions and approach of the research project;
Careful, accurate and responsible treatment of archaeological materials;
Working in a team.
Ects distribution
The course load will be distributed as follows:
28 hours of practical work;
280 pages of literature;
Report, 10 pages.

Mode of instruction
Practical work in a small group, max. 6-8 persons.
