Description
This course looks at culture, health, disease and health care from a psychological perspective and at cultural aspects of core psychological concepts and models.
Course objectives
After completion of the course, students are able to:
Interpret cultural aspects of personality, psychopathology, stress, pain and illness,
Describe cultural differences in health beliefs, lifestyles and health; and
Understand communication between health care professionals and migrant patients and the use of healthcare facilities.

Examination
Students are not automatically enrolled for an examination. They can register via uSis from 100 to 10 calendar days before the date; students who are not registered will not be permitted to take the examination.

Written exam with 5 open questions, 4 of which are chosen.
