The Research School Electives are meant for Research Master students.
Description
It is obligatory for Research Master’s students to join one of the National Research Schools. The Faculty pays the membership fee. An overview of all relevant research schools for students from the Faculty of Humanities can be found on this website.
Assyriology, Classics and Egyptology students usually join OIKOS. Students in Hebrew and Aramaic Studies join LOT, NOSTER or they can take courses from LeidenGlobal.
OIKOS Reading List in Classics
Next to attending workshops and seminars, it is possible for Classics students to take the OIKOS reading list in Greek or Latin.

Dr. C.C. de Jonge is responsible for the Greek reading list.
Study Load
Research Master students have to take courses offered by one of the National Research Schools up to 5 EC per academic year (10 EC in the entire study programme). Research Schools courses may vary in number of EC.
