This is a specialisation of the master’s programme of Psychology.
The aim of this master programme is to provide students with in-depth knowledge and professional skills relating to research methodology, data analysis and statistics. Students will be educated to attain a high level of competence appropriate to participate in fundamental research, as well as in a broad range of empirical research settings. Additionally, students will be trained in statistical and methodological consultancy.
The master specialisation Methodology and Statistics offers good prospects to apply for research assistantships or for doing PhD studies. Furthermore, it creates great opportunities to start a career as researcher or consultant in a variety of (applied) research environments, including academic, governmental and commercial contexts.
