Disease, Signaling and Drug Targets

The Elective Module 'Disease, Signaling and Drug Targets' (DSDT) is similar to the Minor Computational Approaches to Disease, Signaling and Drug Targets and consists of the Courses listed below. The focus of this Elective Module is slightly shifted towards dissection of cellular signaling responses in disease and drug safety through two ‘wet lab’ projects and has a little less computational components than the Minor.

Admission to the Elective Module is restricted to students of the BSc programme Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences who have passed their Propedeuse Exam. The module as a whole has been approved by the Board of Examiners BFW/BPS; should a student replace any of the Courses, he/she will need prior approval from the Board of Examiners BFW/BPS.

The maximum number of BFW students admitted in the academic year 2019-2020 has been set at 40, admission occurs in the order of enrollment in uSis. Enrollment in uSis is open from May 1st to June 15th 2019, the class number will be published here from mid-March.
