Pre-master Psychology
The institute of Psychology offers a pre-master’s programme in Psychology ,intended for those students who would like to take a master’s degree programme in Psychology but do not qualify for admission based on their Dutch HBO (University of Applied Sciences) or WO (academic) bachelor’s degree in a related subject.
Admission
The Psychology Board of Admissions determines whether the gap between a candidate’s previous education and the master’s degree specialisation can be bridged by a programme with a maximum of 60 ECs. The Board of Admissions determines the specific content and scope of the pre-master’s programme for each individual candidate, by assigning a selection of mandatory courses from the bachelor’s degree programme in Psychology.
Duration
Students start the pre-master's programme in september and are expected to complete all assigned courses within one (academic) year. There is no part time track, nor an extra start date in February for this programme.
Teaching takes place during the day, and sometimes also in the evening. Attendance at workgroups and practicals is mandatory.
More information can be found on the website, specifically on the page about the pre-master's programme.
