International Relations: European Union Studies
The European Union is increasingly becoming relevant on the global stage and in the daily lives of European citizens. As a citizen of the European Union, you are influenced by the European Union every day. But how much do you know about the origins and development of the European Union? How much do you know about its policies and decision-making process? Are you familiar with its main institutions? If you seek to answer these questions the Master European Union Studies is the place to get them. For some students, a Pre-Master is required to enter the MA program. This Pre-Master gives you a full overview of the European Union: of its history and institutions, of its decision-making process, and of its policies. In addition, it provides you with an understanding of the European Union’s increasing influence on the global stage, the role of the Netherlands in the European Union, and the influence that organized interest groups have on European decision-making.
