Tarifiyt is the Berber language spoken in Northern Morocco by half a million people. It is the main language spoken by Moroccan immigrants in the Netherlands
The course aims at giving a grammatical overview, followed by the reading of texts. the course is not a conversation course and doe snot aim at fluency in the language.
Students of the MPhil Middle Eastern Studies are obliged to finish this course with an additional 5 ects assignment (marif2) in order to obtain the requested 10 ects.
