Course objective
Learning and demonstrating basic experimental skills needed for genetic engineering, protein determination and visualisation techniques.
Remarks
This part of the course is obligatory before starting the MSc research project. In the case of strong deficiencies, additional training has to be arranged during the main research project or a bachelor course has to be followed first. For Bachelors courses: see Microbiology, Cell Biology or Molecular Biology and Genetics in the Bachelors study programme www.studiegids.universiteitleiden.nl > Wiskunde en Natuurwetenschappen > Biologie.
