Admission requirements
Italian for Teachers (specialized course Bachelor Italian Language and Culture) or recognized equivalent course.
A proficiency in Italian at CEFR level B2-C1 in the productive skills and in oral interaction, C1 in the other receptive skills.
Description
The last half-century in the area of language teaching has seen a proliferation of scientific studies. Research in this field has had a clear impact on the design and content of L2 teaching methods; these are no longer conceived (or should no longer be conceived) based solely on intuitive and impressionistic criteria.
Through a detailed and in-depth analysis of L2 learning methods, we will examine the key points in reverse order to understand what led the method's author to make decisions regarding the construction and sequencing of tasks, in order to identify the scientific basis.
