Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree at Leiden or another Dutch university.
This course is part of the minor Latin American Studies. Students who are enrolled in the minor can enroll for this course untill August 1st. After August 1st the course will also be open for other students.
Description
This course teaches students to read texts in which questions and answers are formulated in everyday Spanish. What writen is concerned, he will be able to formulate fairly complicated notes and messages. As regards the oral skills students learn actively participate in conversations on more than just familiar topics and activities.
Course objectives
Simple forms of communication in Spanish to control both verbally and in writing. In terms of the Common European Framework Language Teaching, we arrive at the following final levels:
Written Spanish: Reading: A2; Writing: A2;
Oral Spanish: listening: A2; Spoken Interaction: A2; spoken production A2.

3 partial exams:
examination A: 40% (Written examination with short questions)
examination B: 50% (Written examination with short questions)
examination C: 10% (Oral presentation)
Weighing
The final grade is the average of all tests. For at least one exam (A or B) has to be at least a 6.0.
Resit
Resit of partial tests during the course. There are a total of two written partial exams.The last final exam (in December) acts as a general re-examination.
