Description

In this course students discuss the role of science in society, ethical conduct, learn about practical aspects of science in action, and are stimulated to think about their future career, either academic or professional.

Course objectives

In contrast to the common contents-driven courses in physics and math, this course focuses on soft skills and personal development. Part of the course will be devoted to a project, which is developed in groups of 4-5 students. The subject of the project can vary from writing a research proposal, preparing an educational project for secondary schools or writing part of a business plan.
