Master Honours Challenges

The Master Honours Challenges are part of the extracurricular honours education that Leiden University offers to master students. A Master Honours Challenge is a course of high quality that tackles complex scientific and social issues in an interdisciplinary manner. These Honours Classes or Challenges can be followed by all students that follow a master programme at Leiden University, TU Delft and Erasmus University.

Students can apply for one of the Master Honours Challenge. Upon successful completion, the course will be mentioned on the diploma supplement as an extra-curricular activity. Students can also request an Honours certificate.

Application period: Monday, 2 February until and including Sunday, 22 February 2026.
