Computer Science: Data Science
The Data Science: Computer Science specialisation is a two-year, full-time master’s programme offered in cooperation with the Mathematical Institute.
Programme
The first year consists of a selection of courses (42 EC) from the Core programme in Computer Science, followed by 3 mandatory Specialisation courses (21 EC) from Statistical Science.
In the second year students need to follow two mandatory Specialisation courses (9 EC) from Statistical Science and one Specialisation course (6 EC) to be chosen from the Fall semester Core programme in Computer Science. In addition, students work on innovative research and applications during the Master's Thesis Research Project (42EC) and are required to participate in the Master Class to support their research.
