Major requirements:
15 EC: Compulsory 100-level courses, namely Environmental Science, Earth System Science and Energy, and Resource Management
20 EC: Complete two of the following three tracks: Ecosystem Health, Earth System Science, Energy and Natural Resources tracks (at least one class at 100, 200, and 300-level per track)
15 EC: Methodology courses, namely Quantitative Research Methods and two other method courses (at 200-level or 300-level)
10 EC: Capstone
20 EC: Additional courses tagged with EES, which can include additional method courses
NOTE: make sure to have at least 4 courses at the 300-level, which can include (300-level) method courses

NOTE: The Majors requirements as listed above apply to all students who start with their Major (i.e. Year 2) in 2018-2019. For the students who first enroll in our programme in 2018-2019 and who will therefore start with their Major (i.e. Year 2) in 2019-2020, the Major requirements will be different. For them, History of Science is no longer a compulsory Year 1 class. The 5ECTS of that course have been moved to the Major, meaning these students will need to complete 85ECTS towards their Major, including the compulsory Major-appropriate Research Design course:
