History: Politics, Culture and National Identities, 1789 to the Present (including Political Debate)
Be aware that this is the 2018-2019 MA History programme. Students who started their programme before September 2018 need to adhere to the academic requirements of their (older) programme.
In the first semester, the student takes a Literature Seminar (10 EC) and two Research Seminars (20 EC), at least one of which within their specialisation.
In the second semester, the student has the opportunity to fill the Optional Course (10 EC) with several options (see Optional Course below), and has to write a Thesis (20 EC). Throughout the year, students are obliged to participate in the Thesis Seminar of their specialisation.
The student must get in touch with the Coordinator of Studies if any deviations from the ideal study plan occur.
