Language Acquisition 3: Working words at Ease

Learning new words doesn’t automatically lead to using them in daily life. TV3 urges people to thematically and systematically use vocabulary regarding the world around us. Students more or less run the course, while the tutor observes and gives the students the opportunity to produce language items and stimulate other students to do the same. Students receive extensive personal feedback during the course. The main criterion in the course is active vocabulary, while students are assumed to have acquired pronunciation and grammar satisfactorily already. These two skills will also be graded. Finally, presentation skills will be practised and evaluated.

One hour seminar per week.
