English Language and Culture

Bachelor

The part-time programme takes 4 1/2 years. Each year has a study load of approximately 40 ECTS. Only the first year has a load of 45 ECTS.

The lectures and seminars take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 18.45 – 20.15 and from 20.30 – 22.00. In the third and fourth year of the programme some classes may take place on Monday and/or Tuesday between 17.00 – 19.00 hours. The examinations will also be offered during the evening hours, with the exception of the resit examinations in August, which will be during the day.

Students should spend about 20 to 25 hours per week on their study programme, including contact hours. It is always possible to switch from part-time to full-time. Part-time students who are able to study during the day-time may, after consultation with the Director of Studies, choose to take some day-time courses. Part-time students are not entitled to student grants.
