Archaeology: Archaeology and Antropology of Mesoamerica and the Andes

This is a specialisation of the Master’s programme Archaeology.

Teaching is inspired by ongoing research projects on the interpretation of ancient visual art and early colonial sources in combination with the study of contemporary oral traditions and social reality. A special area of expertise is the decipherment of ancient Mexican historical and religious pictorial manuscripts, from an interdisciplinary and intercultural perspective.
