Linguistics: Language and Communication
This is a specialisation within the MA Linguistics
Students take four 10 EC courses (or equivalent), as follows:
Course 1: Pragmatics and Grammar: Language as a Tool for Social Influence or Pragmatiek en grammatica: de sturende kracht van taal
Courses 2 & 3: Any other two courses from the list below.
Course 4: Any course offered within the MA Linguistics or a course on a linguistic subject taught in another MA, subject to approval by the Board of Examiners.
The specialisation has 3 optional tracks, listed below. Course 1 is obligatory for all students of the specialisation. If the student chooses to do one of the tracks, courses 2-3 must be drawn from the other courses as listed. Course 4 can be any course offered within the MA Linguistics.
