Een deeltijdstudent spreidt de studie over vier tot zes jaar afhankelijk van zijn tempo. Tijdens de propedeuse krijgt de student een algemeen overzicht van de Psychologie door middel van een introductie in alle deelgebieden. Na de propedeuse staan de kennis en vaardigheden als psycholoog centraal. In de jaren na de propedeuse verdiept de student zich in vakgebieden binnen en buiten de psychologie waarvoor hij zich interesseert. De student bereidt zich alvast voor op de keuze voor een masteropleiding. De bacheloropleiding wordt afgesloten met het bachelorproject.
